Russia, China, and the United States

Russia, China, and the United States have had economic superpowers in the past and in recent years. Russia is the largest country in the world by area, China is the most populous country, and the United States has a higher GDP and higher quality of life than both Russia and China. The economies of these countries have been growing very rapidly and have had a tremendous effect on each other and other countries around the world. Each of these countries is unique and different in its own way.

I had a chance to live and experience the cultures, values, traditions and ethical norms of Russia, China, and the United States. I grew up in Russia, and I moved to the USA at the age of 18. I went to live in China for six months when I was 22, and came back to the USA afterward. My experience of living in each of those countries was unforgettable and unlike one another.

Some of the major differences among these countries: (1) education, (2) health care, (3) family, and (4) taxation. Education and cost of it varies greatly among these countries. Colleges and universities are more affordable in Russia and China. Russia’s university tuition fees average from two thousand dollars to three thousand dollars annually, whereas Chinese pay from five hundred to two thousand dollars a year. In addition, teaching and teaching techniques are dissimilar among these nations. American teachers focus on teamwork and usually give examples from a real life, while Russian and Chinese professors concentrate more on theory. Unlike Americans that prefer to cooperate with each other and learn in a team, Russian and Chinese students choose to study on their own; therefore, they miss the important aspect of successful communication.
