NARRATIVE REPORT

Last February 27, 2015 the 3rd Northern Luzon Faculty and Students Congress in Information Technology Education was held and organized by Saint Mary’s University at APO Pilo Building, School of Computing Sciences and Information Technology, Sacred Heart Center, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. With the main theme of; “Moving beyond the Rapid Evolution of Information Technology”. It was leaded by the master of ceremonies, Mr. Aaron Kevin Benig and Miss Cheriz Anne B. Bimmulog. The topics that were lectured in the congress are the following: Mr. Rey S. Tuddao, a CHED RO2 IT Supervisor discussed an update in IT Education. Mr. Jovanni Wayne Ogaya, a programmer/Web Developer in Tzilla Pilippines, Inc. delivered an advanced background on Web Development. Mr. Ceasar Calayan Cuaresma, a Microsoft Student Partner lectured the features of the new upcoming Windows 10 Operating System: on how it works and functions. Mr. Meneleo John Mendoza IV, a NOKIA Siemens Network Software Engineer discussed an Industry ICT-based Experiences of IT Graduates on understanding Mobile Broadband, why battery drains fast and why signal and or bandwidth is bad. Miss Angela Ortega Aquino, a manager of HeadStart Businesss Solutions, Inc presented the “An Online School Information and Registration Services” (OSIRIS), on how it function, how it makes things easier for everyone and on its systematic way of organizing things. Sydney Joi Agcaoili et.al, a 4th year BSIT Student presented the SMU Electronic Multimedia Bulletin Board System (SMUEMBBS), an online update information bulletin inside the SMU campus.
