1. Yes I believe that a separate theory of assault should be developed apart from murder. I believe this because assault does not always lead to murder. Assault theories should explain why assault happens first, and how it can progress to murder in a small percentage of those cases. In fact aggravated assault is the most frequently occurring violent crime showing that assault should be treated individually from murder.

2. Yes I have seen instances in which games like dodge ball and paintball have leaded to actual assaults. Both in direct assault while playing the game but after that fact due to emotions. Such as I have seen somebody hit someone in the back of the head while playing paintball and a fight breaks out. Yes I have witnessed road rage with verbal assault and won’t I deny have been a part of some road rage myself.

3. Yes I favor stricter laws in regards to violence against women and children like it is in Sweden. It obviously works because crime is down. And it gives help for those in domestic violence cases where it can be hard to escape.

4. Yes I do think that assault in general is strongly associated with domestic violence. We see a lot of it because of the media but also because it is a very frequent crime although it sometimes does not make it to court.

5. The major factors associated with assault are that a lot of assault involves intimate relationship. Weather its child abuse or domestic violence. Usually over a power-control conflict. There are also types of assault that happen in everyday that can occur between friends or strangers that include bar fights, road rage, etc.

6. U.S. involvement in Jamaican politics leads to an increase in violence crimes in Jamaica because the gangs took over in response to CIA intervention to stop communism.
