Food Intake 3 Day Paper

During the week I Anthony Hill had to conduct a food intake for three consecutive days. This paper will describe & display my nutritional intake for the past three days after gathering information. This will provide different aspects of my nutritional needs and an in depth analysis on how my proteins fats carbohydrates & fiber take part in my everyday diet and results. This is intended to focus my views of a healthy eating lifestyle which shows how to achieve it through a variety of food groups.

Well during this three day food intake, I consumed chicken, ground beef, beans, eggs and ground turkey which provided proteins. When it comes down to carbohydrates I consumed (crackers, lettuce, potatoes, white rice, milk, pasta, & rice cakes.) And lastly lipids I had all of vegetable oil, sunflower oil, soy oil, olive oil and butter. When I my recorded protein, carbohydrates & lipids three day intakes I soon noticed that they are pretty high compared to the recommendations of the (Dietary Reference Intake) given my body measurements. The DRIs which are recommendations for the amounts of energy, nutrients, & various other food components that healthy folks should indeed consume in order to stay healthy, reduce the risk of health issues such as chronic diseases & to prevent deficiencies (Grosvenor & Smolin, 2012). Given the facts of my carbohydrates, lipids and proteins are so high, I would recommend eliminating the beef and any parts of the turkey and chicken which produces excess of fat. I would add more proteins and lean meats. Also I plan on eliminating fat foods and will emphasize in low fat -low carbohydrate foods.

I have consumed both between high quality and low quality proteins, and when combine both provided complimentary proteins. This is very important because they compensate for system deficiencies in essential amino acid...
