-I liked this source and chose to use it because it provides a personal story of a same sex adoption in New Hampshire while at the same time it maintains a scholarly attitude. I think it is important to include at least one personal tale in order to show that these people are humans just like everyone else and how anyone can try and deny that is beyond me. This source show how the same sex couple is just as beautiful, yet fragile, as any other heterosexual relationship. This source differs from most of the others in that it does provide that personal and intimate look at the situation in question in my paper.

-This source once again focuses on same sex couples in California. They note how advances in technology have allowed for more same sex couples to raise children. It goes on to discuss how the state has been slow to recognize these new non-traditional families and thus they are being deprived of the benefits that heterosexual couples would normally be afforded. I like this source as it provides specific details about the legal side of this issue as well as focuses on the social problem created by the lack of a timely response to this issue from the government of California.
