As technology improves, is it benefiting or harming our everyday lives?

The impact of technology on our social, mental, physical, and environmental health can be devastating if we do not keep ourselves in check. There is no denying there are many benefits that come with technological advancements, but as with all things in life moderation is key. There are many benefits that come with technological advancements such as medical equipment and procedures, the safety of transportation and building structures, and how it keeps people from all over the world connected. You cannot have something positive without having something negative to balance it out since nothing is perfect. With technology comes many drawbacks such as the lack of face to face communication and socializing, its negative effects on learning and education, and people’s daily life and priorities. Albert Einstein once said “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.” Is it possible that technology is making advancements that may change our world for the better or is technology becoming too advanced for us to handle responsibly?

Technology has changed the world of education in many ways both positive and negative. “Technology has both positive and negative effects on education. With the use of the internet, we have access to information much quicker. We have access to a world of knowledge at our fingertips. With so much use of the internet though, people forget basic skills in education. People have become so dependent on technology, without access to it people lack the ability to do simple math without a calculator and they cannot spell without the use of spell check.
