Muscleman case study

1. Maybe you could test to see if trenbolone acetate causes a change to the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) or FSH. Because if it did cause a change to those hormones then it could be affecting his testosterone secretion or his sperm production.

2. An experiment that I think would be relatively easy to conduct is to have subjects who are thinking about taking anabolic steroid and have them participate in a study where you measure their LH or FSH levels and most importantly measure their sperm production during the course of the study. Measure the levels before he starts taking the steroids and then measure them over time and watch the levels change. I think the levels would decrease. Showing why the testicles are shrinking.

3. I could see how that treatment might work. Because the structure is so similar to LH, your body could think it is in fact LH. So the HCG would be sent from the pituitary to signal to the testes to make more testosterone. So basically it might fool the body into producing more testosterone and reversing the effect that the trenbolone had on the testicles.

4. The remaining testicle wants to be at homestasis like it was before the other was removed. So this remaining testicle produces the same amount of sperm and testosterone that it was producing before, causing it to enlarge in order to complete/store the normal amount of work for that body.

5. Effects of anabolic steroids on men and women

a. Estrogenic side effects typically make you more feminized (weight gain, gynecomastia, water retention, stubborn fat, cellulite, etc.) While androgenic steroids typically mimic testosterone in their side effects (hair loss, increased irritability, high blood pressure, excess facial hair, etc.)

b. The physiological difference is that once plays up your estrogen (female) characteristics and one plays up your testosterone (male) characteristics.

c. I would never...
