Packaged water has been the driver behind the soft drinks industry's slowdown in decline, to just over a percent. PL brands have again outperformed the market in most categories, such as packaged water, carbonates and iced/rtd coffee. Strong gains in the chilled juice segment also contributed to soft drinks improved performance.
