Decisions are catastrophic to significant global leaders. Leaders of the past and present completely altered the world we live in today. Some caused negative results because of their decisions and others made intelligent decisions resulting in tremendous positive global impacts. One powerful leader in particular is known as Donald Trump. Mr. Trump is a significant real estate figure to the whole world. He took over his fathers corporation and made it even bigger than it was and is still a multi billionaire.

Over the years Donald Trump and his father both had to make tough decisions to keep their business afloat. Some decisions were poor which led The Trump Organization to become bankrupt at one point and Donald had to make important decisions to try and get the organization back on its feet. The organization was in over $900 million in debt and all 3 of his casinos in Atlantic City were going bankrupt. He filed for bankruptcy which help his businesses gain financial stability again. Trump himself is financially stable, he has never filed for bankruptcy for himself, only for his businesses. A poor decision led to a massive downfall which would have been terrible for him and his family but he fought through it and came out at the end. Later on in life Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts was in debt for $1.8 billion and was going to file for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy. A Chapter 11 bankruptcy is basically allowing an organization to reorganize the individuals, corporations, and partnerships that all are in the business filing for this type of bankruptcy. Most large businesses attempt this style of bankruptcy to stay afloat without having drastic changes. I believe this was a good choice for Mr. Trump because he was able to get out of the hole but had to take a cut from his share of the business.
