This book discussed about how to become a wizard. “The wizard possesses the secret of immortality”. Most people aim for immortality as which they could live in this world forever. Death is the greatest fear that most mortals or human being have. Without the fear of death or with immortality, people could live their life the way they wanted. Without fear, people have one less problem to worry about, giving more space for other important things. Deepak Chopra spread out the myth of Merlin and Arthur. He revealed and explained twenty life-enhancing lessons out of the myth to create the life that we want.

“The wizard is beyond opposites of light and dark, good and evil, pleasure and pain”. The wizard looks at everything the same way without any judgment whether it is light or dark or good or evil or pleasure or pain.

“The wizard exists in all of us”. We were all born with wizard inside us. Therefore, it is possible for us to become one. It is the matter of how do we take the wizard, who had slept for quite a period of time and who we does not know existed in us out of ourselves. “Return to magical with the return of innocence”. Merlin explained innocence as the state of being unattached to anything. Merlin took baby as an example when they were born to know only of themselves until they realize there is other than themselves, outside of their body making them to attach to it and losing innocence.

Consciousness is the key. One should have full control of his mind, body and his surroundings. Consciousness or in other word, full focus, will bring to awareness. With awareness, one mind could do more than you think you could.

Deepak Chopra also explained about finding who you are. Merlin said that one is attached to memories and past to explain about whom they are but that is not truly is. One needs to detach themselves from memories, labels and judgments,...
