2. Spine resembles a soft "S" shape. Provides movement and flexibility.
3. Kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis
4. Kyphosis- decreased appetite, reduce space for internal organs, cause the stomach or abdomen to push forward and appear to stick out.
Lordosis-bladder or bowl difficulties
Scoliosis- Hurts lungs
5. Any of these conditions can cause very severe back pain
6. a. Usually scoliosis isn't as bad in kids or teens but since Ellen had the most pain before and after her first surgery, I'd say it could've comprised her lungs and breathing, and because she had a bit if kyphosis it could've compromised her stomach.
b. Usually her condition gets worse once people age but since she had a surgery when she was young I think her pain could've been worse. Even though her pain was still bad I think her condition would've caused her lungs to have problems and cause her to have a small appetite.
Inflammation and infection

Foreign materials in the body may cause a infection. Bacteria may have caused it.
