I. COMPANY BACKGROUND

International Elevator & Equipment, Inc. (IEE) is one of the recognized leaders in sales, design, installation, and maintenance of elevators and escalators in the Philippines. Currently, it has 415 employees, 4.8% of which are in sales. The remaining majority are involved in service, assembly, and installation.

Among the company’s core values are performance reliability and customer satisfaction. It is affiliated with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, and MELTECH of Japan. The corporation is 95% Japanese-owned and 5% Filipino-owned.

The company began its operations on April 1, 1969. As of 2005, it has established 7 offices around the country. Its head office is located in Km. 23 West Service Road, South Superhighway, Cupang, Muntinlupa City. Other offices are located in Makati, Pasig, Binondo, and Cebu.
