DAILY PROCEDURES

 Once you open the front door from the outside, you will need to unlock from the inside as well. (Hold in the handle as you turn the key to the right until you hear the click.) Be sure to unlock both the front double doors and single side door.

 Open the break-room, workroom, and offices.

 Turn on the copy machine.

 Log into the USB desktop Once logged in you MUST log into the Counseling Screening Queue.

 Once in the phone queue and you step away or miss a call, you will be kicked into WORKTIME. This is nothing to worry about, simply right click your name and uncheck WORKTIME once you are free to answer calls.

 To go on lunch while in the phone queue, right click your name and select BREAK. From there you will select LUNCH, allowing a 30 minute break. Upon your return, you must uncheck BREAK to answer phone calls.

 To transfer a call to the Counseling Queue (ONLY when there is a counselor logged into the queue), hit “transfer” then hang up. The same goes for transferring to a different department.

 To check in or make an appointment for a student that does NOT have an X number.

CLOSING PROCEDURES

 The phone queues-turn off automatically at the scheduled time so there is no need to manually turn them off.

 Restock course schedules on the front table and on the rack out in the lobby.

 Take official transcripts from the black shelf in the workroom to Sue’s basket in Registration and Records.

 Place all used sign in sheets in the shredder box in the back workroom.

 Put academic plans/permits and SOAP forms in the top left drawer in the file marked “waiting to be scanned”.

 Check the break-room, straighten up if needed, and make sure the coffee pot is rinsed and turned OFF. Be sure to shut the lights off before closing the door.

 Make sure all office doors are shut.
