INTRODUCTION

1.1 Background of the study

Enrollment System is an example of a computer generated process. That is why computerization plays a vital role in this study. This study can result in a system with well-integrated processes that can perform much efficient and more accurate than a manual system. The purpose of this case study is to automate the manual process. Nowadays, everyone is striving for innovation, that is, innovation in Information Technology. Our Technology is currently getting broad and wide, the different application of technology can be seen everywhere. It has also become an essential ingredient for success of today’s enterprises.

The said system has been made to ease the process of enrolling in Cabanatuan Confucius School. Using the computer as a means for storing the students’ records, the security of the student records are assured because these data are stored virtually and can be accessed by the person with authorization.

But, the system will not be fully computerized, some of the manual process will still be used. A registration form would be given by the registrar to the enrolees for them to fill up some information about the student. When the needed information and requirements are collected, the enrolment system will be used. An authorized personnel will encode the data to the system and the system will store it in a database. If the enrollee is an old student of the school, the system can be used to check the data of the student in the database and it will automatically display the old data of the student and the registrar can update some of the necessary changes in the student information. However, if the enrollee is a new student or a transferee, the system will add new information to the database. After the registration process, the parents will choose their desired payment method.
