“Necessity is the Great Invention”

In her introduction she quoted that the “blank page/ white background” is the problem itself.

Her talk is all about AGRICULTURE. It’s problem and how it is being solved.

The problem of farmers are lack of market knowledge that lead them to have high transaction cost, poor infrastructure that will affect their products to have a small volume and inconsistent quality.

How to solve these problems? According to her, for them to solve the problem they need to “unite”, “work together”, “form small group”.

In line with the talk, she emphasize the system of clustering how will it help the farmers to have a quality products.

Because of the invention they built capital, access to shelter, increase bonding and bridging (social capital), access to Regional Government Agency (Bridging Capital), human capital increase and improve price.

-------------------------------------------------

She clearly show to us what is the main problem of the farmers back there. Why sometimes the price of the agri-products are very high or very low. As what I have understand in her talk, she showed us how farmers lack of market knowledge that lead to a not so good quality products.

How they educate them to be able to increase their price and for them to create a good quality products.

There is a great difference with the sales and cost between the farmers who use the system of clustering and to those who are not. The main idea with the talk is how the invention helped them to create an empowered and sustainable output.

Taking a risk isn’t bad at all. You need to take a risk when there’s an opportunity. You have to take...
