American Airlines

American Airlines website offers helpful international travel information. The website offers multilingual worldwide websites. There is a variety of international websites available to help make your travel experience more enjoyable.

Part of the website is broke down into five different regions to help locate where you are trying to go. The five different categories are: North America and the Caribbean, South America, Central America, Europe, and Asia and the Pacific. Next to each country it has the language that the website is in. For example, next to Switzerland the websites are published in Deutsch, French, and English. When you click on the language it brings you to the original www.aa.com just in that foreign language.

Minors may need additional paperwork and passport ID cards are not valid.

The Visa and Immunization section of the website advises you to contact the country you plan on traveling to for additional and updated information. The website says “Many countries require proof of return/onward travel (such as the itinerary/receipt offered by American Airlines) and sufficient funds for your stay. Please contact the nearest Consulate of the country to which you are traveling for additional information.” (American Airlines, 2010). U.S. citizens require a valid visa to travel to Brazil, Bolivia, China, India, and Russia....
