What is Critical Thinking?

The ability to think calmly and make wise choices by following a single pattern, it has skills that you can improve, barriers to avoid, it helps you to choose various ways to talk and debate, and many different ways to help you make choices in life.

Barriers to Critical Thinking:

* Misunderstanding of what criticism really is.

Thinking that criticism means making negative comments.

* Over-estimating our own reasoning abilities.

Having over-confidence on your choices and beliefs.

* Lack of methods, strategies or practice.

Not having enough methods and strategies in order to be ready for the situation.

* Reluctance to critique experts.

Relying on experts ideas and thinking that they are perfect.

* Affective reasoning.

Thinking emotionally.

* Preferring answers over questions.

Not questioning the information or data and instead just accepting them.

* + Not having control over thoughts:

Having unconscious thinking.

* Religious limitation:

Limiting the thinking by religious views.

* Absolutism:

There are no exceptions.

Blooms Taxonomy:

Blooms Taxonomy is a set of steps by Benjamin Bloom to help you in creating new ideas by mixing different ideas.

First you have to learn an idea and memorize the information, secondly you have to understand the information in order to being able to explain them, then you have to try and apply them in a new field, then you have to break down the component parts so that its organizational structure may be understood, then you have to be able to judge the value of the material, and at the end you can have a new outcome.
