Articulating Effective Leadership Approach from a Biblical Perspective

Abstract
This paper is based on the lecture of Hall four to identify Leadership Biblical Principles, God expectation of me, and Leadership models. These components will be used to illustrate effective concepts of leadership from a biblical perspective, different characteristic of a leader and leadership approaches. The study for the above topics will be selected from Chapter nine of the Management Text book along with Hall lecture from week four, and scriptures from the Holy bible to support each objective.
Articulating Effective Leadership Approach from a Biblical Perspective
It is stated in Management Text book that leadership is the ability to influence people to set aside their personal concerns and support a larger agenda (p.311). To become a good leader a person need standards of taking an initiative to step forward to get the job done. To be an effective leader one must demonstrate efficiency, influence others, and be able to develop new ideas. . It stated in Executive Leadership that leadership is both valuable and obvious (Hoagland, S.R. 2008). Both of the definitions for leadership are similar. They both express the technique of influencing individuals. For example, God appointed David to be king due to his characteristics and leadership abilities. When God made David King he bypassed all his brothers because he saw something in David that the others did not contain. He knew David would influence individuals and make the correct choices in all circumstances (1 Samuel 16: 1-13).
