The Frist Date

First dates, are always quite a scary experience just never know how they will turn out. My first date was what I call “picture perfect.” I had gone on a date with Johnny who I met my senior year in high school, he was tall ,tan, with a nice comb over like a white boy, and with a nice groomed beard. I had a crush on Johnny since I met him but,to me Johnny was the most handsome,and funniest boy I knew; One day, Johnny actually took notice to my beauty and had asked for my number,I had gotten super excited . We had been sending each other text messages for a while, but we never really spent time together outside of school . On that Tuesday morning, he sent me a text message saying that he needed to speak to me in person so i ended you with so I ended up spending the rest of the dat being curious on what he had to talk with me. We ended up meeting later that day I had asked him “what happened my love “? he replied “Look bae I know we have been talking for a while now but I wanted to know if Saturday we can go a date”? I just had blanked out from all the happiness I was feeling inside and told him “yes” and after I hugged him. For the rest of the week,I walked around school with an extra hop in my step, and a smile from cheek to cheek.

On Friday, I sent him a text asking what I should wear on our first date and where we were going because I was curious about what he had planned for us to go do together. He told me he could not tell me anything due to the fact that the whole date was a surprise and for me to just wear shorts and t-shirt that would compliment my skin tone, but he told me as well that he going to be at my house at 10:30am sharp to pick me up so after he sent me that text message, I had gone to find my mother in the house, to ask for permission to go on the date with Johnny in a way I had to convince my mother since it was early in the morning and she didn’t know Johnny personally but I got her to say “yes” thankfully.
