Watching the Simpson Family has been a tradition in my family for many years. We never hesitate to watch an episode we have already seen. The Simpson Family debuted as a cartoon short on the Tracey Ullman Show on April, 19, 1987. (answers.com)The Simpson family were such loved characters that the were made into their own show. The Simpsons premiered on December, 17, 1989. Today, I am going to show you how to draw my favorite character Homer Simpson the husband and father of the family.

1) Draw a full circle and a half circle on the left.

2) Draw a hotdog-shaped nose directly under the half circle.

3) Draw a half circle under the eyes and nose. Then make the lip stick out where

the mouth begins.

3 1/2) Complete the circle with the bottom lip sticking out.

4) Make a brow ridge over the half circle eye and then an egg shaped head that ends at the right eye.

5) Make the ear. Draw a backwards G. Then extend the neck past the mouth and on the left side.

6) Make 2 criss-crossed arches on the top of the head. Then draw the letter M above he ear.

7) Draw a line through the middle of each eyeball and a tiny pupil in each eye. Draw his collar with the letter M directly under the neck and mouth, Then a rectangle across the rest of his neck.

The Simpson family has endured for a long time. Homer is easy to draw and is loved by many. Homer Simpson is my favorite character on the show. My family and I have watching the show for a long time and never tire of it. Homer Simpson won first place in Entertainment Weekly’s top one hundred characters of the past twenty years (absolute astronomy.com)
