Endangered Species in Hawaii

Endangered species is high in Hawaii due to isolation and foreign invaders. Back in the 1800’s before Europeans arrived to Hawaii, many of our species have developed unique abilities and many plants and animals in Hawaii could not be found anywhere around the world. These species were known to Hawaii native animals or plants. These animals came to Hawaii by either the Pacific Ocean or by wind that the birds would drop in and land animals came from a distance. But the species were able to adapt to the paradise of rainforest and white sand beaches. The Hawaii animals and plants had no fear of predators hurting them. All the animals had a changed of how they grew such as the birds beaks changed their shape and lost their ability to fly and some plants lost their scents but this all changed with foreign invaders arrived to Hawaii.

This type of issue is not moral matter because it is harm that has been caused by the Europeans that invaded Hawaii and took a lot of the beautiful nature away. Hawaii will never be the same as it was 100 years ago, but today there is some Hawaiian people trying to keep our rainforest and lands in the way that it was presented years ago. But unfortunately most of it has gone due to buildings being concrete to the Hawaiian lands and the rainforest taken down for department stores. This fact is that Hawaii remains as a marketing place instead of its scenery. The island of Oahu has become the biggest city for Hawaii as for the Big Island, Hawaii it still has its scenery of rainforest, volcano, waterfalls, and a few Nene Goose which are label as extinct but it has mostly gone to the white people or as we call it in Hawaii “Haole’s” for money.

The dilemmas for the state of Hawaii is that we can’t take back our mistakes that the foreigners did to Hawaii but as a state or the Hawaiian people should consider to save some land that we can show our grandchildren what Hawaii was like years ago. We are facing hotels...
