Stefani Joanne Angeline Germanotta, better known by her “Radio Gaga” inspired stage name, “Lady Gaga” and known to her fan base as simply, “Mother Monster” gifted us with her presence in the upper scale of New York, Manhattan on the dark earthy day of 28th March 1986. Growing up in Manhattan was an enough inspiration for the singer as at the tender age of three knew she was destined to perform. Initially, Gaga attended the highly established New York’s University Tisch School of Arts before convincing her parents to drop out of school to pursue a career in music. Outwardly, it might have seemed like Gaga was an overnight sensation, in reality however, she struggled to gain recognition for her own individuality. Gaga soon develop an out of this world personality that finally caught the attention of record producers. That was not the end of the skirmish for Gaga, as portrayed in her song “Marry the Night”, Gaga was prior sign and drop out of three record labels before landing a multi-million dollar deal with Interscope Records in 2006. Gaga first gain pop mainstream attention with her global smash hit “Just Dance”. To the public it seemed like the catchy tune took over pop culture instantly. That could not have been further from the truth as it took twenty-two weeks to reach number one due to its club banger production in which radio junkies refused to play the hypnotic track. All that perseverance paid off with the release of her global smash hit debut record “The Fame”. Since then Gaga has added four more records into her discography including “The Fame Monster”, “Born This Way”, “ARTPOP” and the collaborative album “Cheek to Cheek” with jazz veteran Tony Bennette.
