Pfizer has continuously showmen their advancement in tech reaches and mechanical engraining in order to meet the needs of the current business environment. By partnering up with GEA and G-con manufacturing, Pfizer has created a one of a kind portable system that accelerates the speed of tablet production. By miniaturizing the equipment the process of pill making can be compacted and enclosed in a portable. The prototype facility called a “Pod” (PCMM) can be transported to any location worldwide and can be rapidly assembled. This has all been approved and will run permanently within the next year. This new system transforms powders into within tablets in minutes, cutting down a process that would usually take days or even weeks. By doing so Pfizer will grow in quality efficiency due to shorter processing and delivery time. They will also reduce their contribution to today’s ecological problems by leaving a 60-70% smaller imprint in facility production size, and by using the same equipment for the development of clinical trials and commercial manufacturing.
Another thing Pfizer stands out for is its large organizational size. This allows the company to continue ventures and projects in research development through its vast financial resource. This has lead Pfizer to millions within the international pharmaceutical market. Associated with over 44+ countries globally.
