Subjects of Christianity

There are four main subjects that have to be introduced when talking about religion. Creed, Trinity, Church and theology. These subjects have to coexist with each other when trying to understand Christianity as a whole. Each subject plays a key role in understanding religion.

The first subject that I researched lately was Creed, I’m beginning to get a real grasp of what theology is not only as a teaching but as a lifestyle. He proclaimed that the son is not god in the same way as the father is God. To be divine means to be above all that is originated, or to have no origin. He was meant to show men what humans should try to be like and how they should act accordingly. The council formed a Creed against this saying that the son was made from the substance of the Father and that he is “begotten not made” which helped me understand what Creed does in our everyday life and how it shapes religion.

The next subject that I researched was Theology and this is how Christianity can be taking seriously in the classroom and through research. Some of the topics within Theology that I found interesting were the theology of of the cross, and narrative theology. New realizations shape theologies such as black theology, which opposes racism and promotes full civil and ecclesial rights; feminist...
