Introduction:

Within this paper I will discuss a local community project and discuss how it aligns with and supports public administrators and how they interpret and implement new policies, the standards, community analysis and framework.

Community Project:

Community projects are recognized to be effective and successful when several elected officials come into an agreement with the public, communities and its residents. Partnerships and collaborations with the elected officials and residents have demonstrated to be effective as an instrument when it is achieved with mutual goals. There are seven characteristics used to impact effective achievements of goals related to community projects. Firstly, there is an assessment of funds that are available, the verification of contract specifications is second, the third is the intensity of the labor, capital intensity is fourth, costs is fifth, the sixth is the management of competencies, and the stabilization of the administration is seventh.

Community Analysis:

A project permits community partners and researches to implement, develop and carryout the essentials of a community need analysis survey. A project is aimed to engage the public and validate the local priorities and needs of the community and the people.

Policy Making:

Policy making is most frequently underrated and misinterpreted and it is the key role for a town or city and its lawmaking bodies. The rules that the local government create, have an effect on the community as a whole. Public policy regulates the servers and affect how they will be provided to the people of a community.

Local Project:

The city of New Orleans, Louisiana, has put together a Neighborhood Protection Plan. The mayor has a neighborhood engagement office and it is the city’s permanent place for public participation with government decision making. This office was created in 2011 by mayor Landrieu. The...
