Who Are They Exactly?!?

Indonesian must know exactly what is DPR shorten from. In Indonesia, DPR was shortening from Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat; it means that DPR represents people in Indonesia. As I may see, one of their duties is permeating, mustering, accommodating, and following-up the society aspirations. Seems nowadays, the attendance of DPR itself is floating. Who are they exactly?

There are many contradiction happened in Indonesia especially when we talk about DPR. Started from the government gives fund subsidy for DPR, their exasperation of going abroad which having occasion of doing compare study, and which happened lately, the government’s plan of giving laptop. The government’s desire of giving the most qualitative facilities to DPR so that they can do their duties well is the most especial reason for all of that. Sounds it is not only as one of clever ideas but also shallow. I guess, their ability is just making a sentence or component of words. I called it as NATO (No Actions Talks Only) an abbreviation which is famous enough among the functionary nowadays. In my opinion, answering to these matters does not seem logic.

Privately, I consider these as one of their purpose of stealing people fund. They have already got monthly salary for their works besides that, the make-up of their job is incommensurate to the fund subsidy. Their exasperation of going abroad, for example, this also represents extravagance of state money which cannot be justified. Their occasion of going abroad for comparing study is a serious matter. They cannot just going as they like. They must give the proposal which contains the background of doing the compare study and the responsibility reporting after it transparently. This is basic elements in the world of work. One more evidences, if we may see sharply, the levying of laptop is not beneficial. Seeing the poor people, probably this matter just shows the social difference in Indonesia.
