With Project 2013, you can create crisp, colorful, professional reports without having to export your data to another program. Project 2013 helps you stay in touch with your team members. Get progress updates, ask quick questions, or even have long-term strategy discussions, all without leaving Project.

3. How do you create a WBS in Project 2013?

Click View, and then pick a sheet view, such as the Task Sheet or Resource Sheet.

Click Project. In the Properties group, click WBS and then click Define Code.

4. How do you enter task durations and establish dependencies between tasks?

On the View menu,

In the Task Name field, select two or more tasks you want to link, in the order you want to link them.

To select nonadjacent tasks, hold down CTRL and click the tasks you want to link.

To select adjacent tasks, hold down SHIFT and click the first and last tasks you want to link.

5. How can you make sure that resource assignments do not mess up your schedule?

Project can schedule tasks using two methods: manual scheduling and automatic scheduling with manual scheduling, changes to factors such as task dependencies, constraints, and project calendars do not automatically adjust task dates.

6. How can you use the Team Planner to assign resources and reduce over allocations?

When a resource is assigned too much work in a given period, the most effective way to reallocate or reschedule the work is to examine all pertinent details and decide which trade-off to make.
