Introduction:

The Supply chain covers all the physical process from buying of raw materials to the manufacturing process and all the process until the final product reaches to the end customer. Supply chain management focuses on optimizing the operation of the organisation to maximize the speed and efficiency. Fundamentally, world is one big supply chain and in this world all the organisation are focusing on giving the right product, of right quantity, with right quality, at the right place and on the right time to their customers. Supply chain management touches the major issues in today’s global business environment the issue related to increasing growth of multinational cooperation and strategic partnerships, fluctuating oil and gas prices, environmental concerns, expansions and outsourcing, each of this issues dramatically affects the bottom line and organisation strategies.
