Animals Have the Same right of Living as Human

Dodo was a bird, found at the island of Mauritius, in the Indian Ocean, where it was undisturbed by human beings. As soon as the interrupt in their life, they became extinct in 17th century. Not only Dodo bird but also Passenger Pigeon, Greek Auk, Tasmanian Tigers are also extinct now. If it goes on in such a way, it is not so far that all animals are going to be extincted and make a hazard in ecosystem. Therefore, it is important to save them. We need to ensure their existence by giving them the minimum right of living. From my point of view, animals have the same right of living as human being have as they are also the creation of god, feel pain and contribute equally in ecosystem as human do.

Firstly, animals are also the creation of god as human beings are which gives them similar right of living as human. According to Corinthians (10:25:26), ‘The earth and all those god makes the rules about what dwells on the earth including how we treat animals.’ It means, god is the one who decrees about how we should treat animals, it is not our superiority of human over animals. Therefore the subject of creation is so important to study the argument. The Quran Majid (6:38) ‘there is not an animal on earth, nor a bird that flies on its wings, but they are communities like you………’ it refers to the fact that man and animals are same in condition in nature. Therefore people have no right to show cruelty towards them. In addition, in Bukhari Sharif , we find that Prophet Muhammad (SM) said that who is kind to animals is kind to himself. It proves that the animals are equal as human from the perspective of creation. Hence, people have no right to be cruel towards them.

Along with that, animals feel the pain when human hunts them and use them in unnecessary cruel activities just like humans. Thus human...
