2. There are many hypothesis built into the balanced score card. If the arrows from one part of the balanced score card take place then the outcome will be obtained in the other part of the scorecard. For example, the more of the employees that take the hospitality courses will result in the time to take an order to drop and the cleanliness of the facility will improve. An example of the next lair would be if cleanliness is obtained that customer satisfaction in regards to service would improve.

The main hypothesis that I have trouble with is that additional menu items will lead to menu satisfaction. If menu items are simply added and are not cooked correctly because the cooks are all new because they are just coming out of cooking school, than menu satisfaction or profits will not be obtained. ‘

3. Management will be able to tell if a hypothesis is false if an arrow in the learning section of the balanced scorecard for example does not improve the area it is supposed to improve in the internal business practice section. For example, if the hospitality courses fail to improve on the overall cleanliness of the facility than the underlying scorecard is false.
