Case Study

Bob and his wife Jen went on a vacation recently. It was an all-inclusive Windstar cruise to the Caribbean Islands. This is Bob and Jen’s second time on a cruise to the Caribbean. Later that evening when he arrives home, he tells his wife Jen how he’s been feeling, so she takes his temperature and it is slightly elevated at 101˚F. Not too concerned, she tells him to take some Tylenol and get some rest. Early the next morning, sound asleep, Jen wakes to her husband Bob grunting and groaning due to unbearable pain. Soon after, he starts vomiting and sweating profusely. This was followed by a nosebleed. Not sure what to do, she asks him what is wrong and he describes the pain as “bone breaking” throughout his body....
