Project Title: Project Management Email Project

Budget Information: Tonkincorp has provided an operating budget of $10,000. The majority of costs for this project will also be internal labor.

Project Objectives: Develop a faster and much more organized email system for the company. One of the tools that we’ll be integrating into our system is MailChimp. MailChimp is an online email marketing solution to manage contacts, send emails and track results. With MailChimp, information sent between internal consultants and external customers will be better organized and easier to track. We will also integrate another email marketing software, named Silverpop, to our company’s computers. At the end of the first week (Nov. 9-Nov 13th) we will ask for feedback from employees and find out which emailing tool they like the most.

Main Project Success Criteria: The project will provide faster communication between consultants and customers and create a faster work flow in the office.

Approach:

* MailChimp will be integrated into our company’s computers during the first week of work (Nov. 9-13th).

* Silverpop will be integrated into our company’s computers during the second week of work (Nov. 16-20th).

* At the end of the two weeks, we will develop a survey for our employees and find out which email system they liked the most.

* Review progress in work flow and compare and contrast results from Week 1 & 2 (such as which email system provided better external templates, etc.)
