Bad Behavior and The Difficult Employee

Scenario 1

Dealing with problem employees, and bad behavior occurs more often than one would like to admit. As a result, when an employee becomes difficult to work with, jobs are not finished, or work is done with unresponsiveness, a supervisor must take remedial action. In some situations, unsuitable behavior can impair the effectiveness of the officer and in other cases, it can impair the work of other members. “Problem employees can usually be described as possessing one, or more, of the following characteristics: erudite, tyrannical, defeatist, manipulator, or indecisive.” (Moore, H.
