Introduction

Traditional telephone systems are a thing of the past. In today’s business world, VoIP or Voice Over Internet Protocol is the next generation of the future. There are many benefits of switching to VoIP systems including lowered costs and increased customer revenue. VoIP services also allow for better telecommuting calls, which are needed for business these days.

In this paper I will attempt to study voice over internet protocol VoIP. I’ll give you details of seven options and discuss in detail from two sides ,First is advantage and the second is disadvantage for each options.

Options:

1st option: Staying with current plan

Advantages:

1- Already deployed VoIP solutions at customer sites.

2- The VoIP technology tested and debugged.

3- Selected components to be included in the solution set.

4- Improved GUI suitability for small and midsize business markets.

5- Secured distribution and reseller agreements (Network, Equipment service components).
