Executive Summary:

The company as to which we work for is a motor vehicle company. Our mission is to create a new environmentally friendly car that will be willingly adopted throughout Sweden and eventually Australia. Sweden is environmentally advanced in many energy and waste saving techniques. Therefore Sweden will offer us insight into a fuel efficient industry that will enable us to adopt a greener version of manufacturing and selling fuel efficient cars.

This report aims to assist our CEO as he/she will depart in the next week for a potential joint business venture in Sweden. The following document informs the CEO of the key national, political, legal, environmental and economic factors plus any current issues that may affect business interactions in Sweden. This report will assist him/her in their ability to assess the potential business environment that we are about to embark on. It will also enable him/her to function in a culturally literate manner throughout their time in Sweden.

Introduction:

As stated previously our mission is to create a new environmentally friendly car that will be willingly adopted throughout Sweden and eventually Australia. To determine the investment opportunity we were firstly able to identify Sweden’s basic appeal by understanding the basic demand for our venture within the country. “Currently Sweden is taking the world by surprise with an unpredictable goal. It is presuming that it will be able to become the first oil-free economy within a decade” (J.Erkisspm, 2010). This factor demonstrates that in terms of fuel efficient technology Sweden is the ultimate country in regards to demand for the product.
