Challenges in Groups and Teams

This paper will address the training plan to help with groups and teams to increase the effectiveness in the course of communication, conflict, and collaboration. In addition the paper will address the challenges and benefits of conflict management, collaboration, and communications within teams and groups. The plan will discuss how specific challenges can be applied and implemented.

Communication is one important component to a team and group to be successful in any challenges the team might encounter. Teamwork will involve individuals to cooperate with each other ideas and work together as one. The challenge is that each individual has his or her opinion and may believe that his or her idea is the right idea. The process of brainstorming the ideas before making a decision will help the team with dealing with conflict. Because each individual has his or her mindset does not mean the team cannot communicate his or her differences and still compose a well thought out diverse plan for the team.

By implementing group and team communication on projects an organization will have more advantages whether than disadvantages because individuals will be able to express his or her thoughts. The team and group will learn to work together and decide on a resolution as a team as oppose to one individual making the final decision. Communication is the foundation of any business or organization. Communication makes projects develop and succeed. Teams and groups will have nonverbal and verbal communication during the process and excellent communication will produce an effective clear direction for the team.

Some of the nonverbal communication is with facial expression, gestures, eye contact, touch, space, voice, posture, and body movement. Individuals have to beware of the nonverbal communication...
