1. What is your opinion of the effectiveness of the telecommuting program at the travel agency so far?

Telecommuting program from my point of view is a very sound program. I think this program will save the company a lot of money, by not having to relocate to a much larger facility. The company staffs and clients had no criticism about the telecommuting program. Employee’s responded by saying that the telecommuting program was successful. Some of the staff got to spend more time at home enjoying more family time. Telecommuting program was a success according to Sue and Russ it avoided long commute times and impact their personal life in a great way. I think that working at home for the worker was motivation to get the job done in a timely and accurate manner. At the end of the day the company saved money on land, accommodations, and overhead costs because the teleworkers I working at home and that save on office space at the company.

2. What evidence should Sue and Russ be seeking to know if the telecommuting program is beneficial to travel agency?

Sue and Russ should reflect on the profits that this telecommuting program could bring to the table for the company by increasing production, monetary saving from not having the company relocate, and more family time for the employees in which will increase their quality of life. Some of the Staff that partook in this program felt less stressful at the end of the day. Also the evidence would be found in their customer service stats such as if the customer had any problem with communication, or proficiency. Sue and Russ need to relate the current output versus the old production before they started the program.

3. What recommendations do you have for Tony so his networking will become a more positive experience for him?

Tony could ask Sue and Russ to let him work at least one day a week at the company. I also recommend Tony to have a group session with the other volunteer teleworkers at a coffee shop or any...
