Islam Religion and African-American Ethnicity

Islam religion differs significantly from other religions such as Christianity. But in a few instances, they are alike. Christianity believes in a higher power which is God and that there is only one God. A three in one, or Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things, and he is sinless. Christians believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death. They also believe in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal, future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years. The blessed hope in the Rapture of the Church at Christ's coming. The Church is all who believe in Jesus as their Savior.

The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. Good works alone will not get you into heaven, although good works should follow those who believe. (All about religion 2002-2015)

Islam believes in Allah, the one and only God to them. They believe in Mohammad and that he is the messenger of Allah. To the Muslims, the Quran is God's last word to the world. It states that both the Old and New Testaments are likewise divinely inspired but have been altered by Christians and Jews. In any place where they conflict, the Bible is wrong, and the Quran is correct; the Quran is the final authority. Islam's basic teaching, called the Islamic creed, consists of six basic beliefs, found throughout the Quran. The favorite creed of Islam is, "There is no God but Allah," which is recited daily by the faithful Muslim. The unity of God is a basic tenet of the Muslim faith.
