While most women think radio morning show host Maina Kageni is their preferred marriage advisor, they should know he’s a reckless, marriage-phobic heckler.

Ladies, I never figure why you take advice from a bachelor who, if he truly loves women as he pretends, would, at least, have married one of you.

Maina has stood firm in dividing-over the radio- and putting asunder what God put together.

You might think that I’m bitter because Maina had a hand in breaking my marriage. No!

I’m only 22 and I have never married though I’m a million times better than Maina Kageni. See, I’m seeing someone.

The dark moments witnessed in marriages today aren’t new and if one thinks that he or she is in hell because of marriage to this man or woman, better know that there’s a man or a woman somewhere living with the devil himself.

Even in the biblical times sh*t happened: Abraham slept with his Egyptian handmaiden Hagar leading to the birth of Ishmael. Did Samson’s Philistine wife not betray him There’s nothing that’s happening in marriages today that’s new and let not Maina Kageni exaggerate and play with your psychology to make you believe that you are walking on fire. If anything, Maina is the one who ignites that fire then leaves you roasting in it.

Most sane minds wonder what solutions these women get from Maina Kageni, who most of the time laughs at their problems and asks for a whisky. In the morning!

These women who expose their husband’s weaknesses to Maina are a true manifestation of a person who goes to buy a dress, chooses the best of all the dresses available but on getting home realises that the zip at the back is faulty.

She then goes and tells a man with a twisted sense of humour about the faulty zip. Her new ‘advisor’ tells her, “That’s a very bad dress. Come, let us hold the dress and tear it to pieces!”
