Mumbai, Feb. 25 The Godrej Group has decided to continue with its brand building campaign during the third edition of the IPL, marking an investment of Rs 50 crore upwards during the season. Having invested almost a similar amount during the previous season, the group is interested in extending its brand building efforts during the current season of the tournament. Speaking to Business Line, Mr. Anil Mathur, Chief Operating Officer, Interio Division, Godrej & Boyce said, “We would be continuing with our brand building exercise during the IPL this season and the group would continue to be a co-sponsor. We would be promoting our new categories and highlighting the changes within the group. The investment would be upwards of Rs 50 crore, almost comparable to what we spent in the last season.” Meanwhile, the group's holding company Godrej & Boyce, is attempting to contemporise its offerings under its office and home furniture division, Interio, by roping in designer Krsna Mehta to create a signature line of sofas, cupboards and kitchens.
