What is K to 12 Program? Why do you think the lawmakers passed this program in the congress? Why the Government need to add two more years? Why we are worthy for the implementation of k to 12?

K to 12 program is a kindergarten and 12 years of Elementary and Secondary education. Most of our politicians and parents oppose the implementation of this program because according to them, it will not be helpful and weren’t ready for it. The lawmakers passed this program in the congress because we need to open our eyes fellas! And embrace the new changes that it happens and hope it will help us to overcome the poverty that we face in our country nowadays. Did you know? According to studies, Philippines is the only country in Asia and among three countries in the world followed by Djibouti and Angola with 10th year basic education program. K to 12 is not new. The proposal to expand the basic education way back 1925. Why the Government need to add two more years? This is the question we usually heard. If we only open our mind it’s very simple we can answer it all by ourselves. The government wants to decongest and enhance the basic education for all. Why we are worthy for the implementation of k to 12? According to studies here in the Philippines it show that an additional year of schooling increases 7.5 percent. Other than that the k to 12 education program plan is minus 2 years for those families who cannot to afford college education but still wish to have their children to find a good job.

I, myself supports the k to 12 program because promote a global competence and it facilitate mutual recognition of Filipino and professionals here in and abroad.
