Bigfoot

Deep in the coniferous forests of the Pacific Northwest a small Indian and his elder watch a herd of deer grazing on the bits grass. Taking aim the young boy pulls back his bow, with the elder watching carefully. The deer suddenly freeze the elder senses something amiss and motions for the boy to release the tension in the bow. Suddenly, the herd takes off at full charge back thru the forest. The young boy stands there disappointed at yet another day without a kill. Then, without warning, a dark shadowy figure steps out in front of them, the man is huge towering a good two feet over the elder. The large hairy man continues to march in the direction of the herd, as the man melts back into the forest the elder whispers,”sasquatch”, or wild man of the woods.

Today the “Wildman” has many names, Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Alma, and Yeti. This story has been repeated through history in civilizations all over the world. Each having a legend or story speaking of them. Today we have collected numerous 14 to 18 inch foot prints, videos, pictures, and reports of the sightings of these creatures. Descriptions of the beast tend to show a large 7 to 9 foot tall creature. This creature is covered in hair, has ape like facial features, and walks on two feet. Yet even with all the evidence collected “bigfoot” is still in the cryptozoogoly books.

Reports of large foot prints have gone on for centuries but it wasn’t until the 1950’s that they began being cast. The most famous piece of evidence is the Patterson film, a 53 second piece of film showing a female Bigfoot walking away from Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin. Many have tried to use this to prove and disprove the existence of Bigfoot. Many reports of seeing the
