The Shawshank Redemption‘s

The Shawshank Redemption‘s is an outstanding representation of the unfamiliar and harsh conditions in life. Such adversities usually hit a person without warning and lead to devastating psychological breakdown and hopelessness. In such a scenario, it does not matter whether the person was deserving or not. Adversities define the strong from the weak where the strong adapt and survive while the latter succumbs.

Andy Duframe is an accountant wrongly accused of murdering his wife and lover brutally and sentenced to Shawshank Prison for life. In Prison, he forms a friendship with Red (Morgan Freeman) a master smuggler with ties with the corrupt prison authorities. First he asks Red to get him a hammer, giving an excuse that he likes geology and later a poster. While prison, he overhears a guard complain about the heavy taxes he has to pay on inheritance. Andy offers to help him feel the papers escape the tax in exchange for three beers for all inmates in his group. The Warden Bob Gunton and the guards are involved in illegal deals with local firms, and Andy helps hide the fraud. In exchange, he gets a private room, protection and also serves the head Librarian, which he helps expand for two decades. Tommy, a newcomer, seeking protection by Andy tells him that the served with another inmate Ernie who admitted killing a banker's wife and lover and getting the banker framed. The testimony would be sufficient to release Andy but the Warden fears that the fraudulent activities would leak. He gets Tommy shot and forces Andy to continue laundering money for him and the guards threatening to destroy the library. Andy actualizes his plan and escapes through a sewer tunnel he has dug for 20 years taking with him all money accumulated for the Warden in a proxy bank account for 20 years. The warden commits suicide to avoid prosecution, and Red is released on parole and reunites with Andy in Mexico (Rolston, et al)....
