INTRODUCTION

* How many of you guys like being stuck in your dorm room or house laying around doing nothing? I know I don’t, I know your probably wondering, what is there to do on this small town of Oskaloosa ?

* Well what if I told you there is a very fun activity you can play outdoors with a group of friends and have some fun

* It is the game of disk golf

WHAT IS DISK GOLF?

* Disk golf is pretty much like regular golf but instead of using a club and a golf ball you use a disc ( Frisbee )

* You will be throwing the disc into a series of metal baskets in an outdoor course

* The object of the game is to complete the course using the fewest possible throws

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PLAY DISC GOLF

-first thing you have to do in order to play disc golf is buy yourself a disk

-you can purchase a disk online or at any sports store, you can even get them at Walmart

-they are not expensive, the price for a disk is normally $11 dollars

- there are different types of disks, for example, there are drivers, which are used for distance

-there are also putters, which are used more short distance

-you can pass by only having the driver, unless you want to get really serious and buy your self a full set of disk.

-after have your disk you will need to find a course , most local and state parks have them, the park here in town has a disk golf course

-the best part about this it is free to play

HOW TO PLAY DISK GOLF

-Each hole begins with a tee throw. Tee throws must be completed within or behind the designated tee area
