Cricket is religion in India where I come from, just like football and basketball in USA. If you are good in it you will be famous. We had championship in our school. Winning that tournament was everything. We used to practice and prepare for the tournament whole year. I was good at it and also popular in my class

Cricket is similar to baseball. Pitcher is called as bowler. There are certain rules about the way bowler should bowl. I was the captain of my school team.

We reached the finals of the tournament. During the game one of our lead bowlers got injured badly therefore he could not complete his bowling quota. And the game went down to the wire. The opposite team needed five runs in the last over. We were on the verge of losing the match. There was a guy in our team who did not had a proper action, we were not sure about his action. Technically not allowed to do pitching. As a captain I had an option to ask other one of the guys to do the job. But I decided to take a chance and let the that guy bowl it, who had a questionable action. Since it was a last over and pressure situation referee did not looked at his action and he could sneak through or may be he did it properly you never know. We won the game and championship.

The point here is I did know about the issue and I still feel it was not ethical from my side to take such decision, considering I had other option as well. But that time the only thing on my mind was to win the game.
