Cake Frost is a dessert in a cup with milkshake at the bottom and cake at the top. Their store is located at Brgy. United Bayanihan, City of San Pedro, Laguna, near PUP San Pedro Campus and in front of Mini Stop.

A. Is the item necessary, does it add value, or can it be eliminated?

Many shakes have been emerging in the market nowadays. May it be a common shake or an innovated one. It cannot be eliminated as it has been part of everyone’s life. Cake Frost is usually peak during summer but since it is still being patronized by the customers until now. It serves as a past-time by students, passersby and those who loves shakes. Also, it’s like a stress reliever for people like us because of its sweetness and refreshments it gives.

B. Are there alternative sources for the item?

There are nearby stores that are selling the same product but they differ in product offering. Like Shakes and Snacks, about 15 meters away from Cake Frost. From the name itself, Cake Frost has cake at the top with different flavours like chocolate, vanilla and red velvet. The staff also said that they add milk in their shake which makes them stand out with Shakes and Snacks. Their shakes are available in different flavours (chocolate, vanilla, rocky road etc.), sizes (petite- P 38, medium- P48, grande- P58), and add-on toppings (mallows, crunched grahams & cookies, pearls). Cake Frost also has their best selling products like Frappe, Frost Coffee Jelly and Tiramisu Milkshake which prices range from P 40.00 – P 75.00. Street vendors offer the same product within the vicinity of United Bayanihan.
