Introduction:

Starbucks is currently the largest coffee chain in the world continuing its operation from the early 70’s. The company at present is operating in 23,132 different locations throughout the world. With varied product range this coffee bar is currently ruling the coffee shop industry and can be called the pioneer for all of its competitors. The products of Starbucks include hot and cold drinks, espresso, microground instant coffee, coffee latte, Frappuccino beverages, snacks and pastry. Products also include prepackaged snacks and beverages. In every step of its business decisions, the company outperformed because of its right strategies, values and vision. Its mission statement “To inspire and nurture human spirit- one person, one cup one neighborhood at a time” is considered one of the most inspiring and customer-influencing missions of all time. Also, bringing newer business strategies and maintaining certain values in operation made them different from their competitors. This paper includes detailed review of the company Starbucks with concentration on its commitments to society, vision and mission.
