Well, not all of the jobs are interesting for the general public but they are so very necessary. Here are some shortage in the career fields they are like the vehicle technicians they do the basic and the repair of the maintenance. Also, they do the brakes and patch tires, and they are shortage, in this also because they do need to have a very high level of skills in the science and math. And it does require the use of computers and that some of the ones that are very young they do not have. So the shortage it is very serious because due to the aging of the employees and some are going to retire soon. And when they do there will be young ones to replace them and due to the shortage and decrease and increasing the workplace. And there will be changes in the workplace so that it can be manage because when there are such a shortage it can be very upsetting for all of the employees.
Critical Question 1
The worker shortages within the article is a long term problem. Why, because many people as stated aren’t attracted to the job itself, the pay maybe good but the job it isn’t interesting. For instant the vehicle technicians, they change the rigs and checks the trucks for problems or repairs. If their enough people working and covering this position, the trucking company can easily spend out a lot more money in repairs covering the cost of the truck. This is a long term problem because the company will have to put in more money into getting their trucks right and ready for the road. As for the coal mining the shortage is going to hit hard in a long term process because the current coal miners are becoming of age and ready to retire. A lot of people, such as the younger crowd aren’t taking these jobs. As stated the pay is well but the work is difficult, for the younger generation mostly want easy pay easy labor....
