Data Gathering Instruments 

            To properly understand and analyze how the reservation system works, a large amount of information is required. This information is not only focuses on a single aspect of the study but as well as preparing and for seeing improvements in terms of design and features needed. The information was gathered by using library, internet, interview, brochure, observation methods and Femar’s vey own Terms and Conditions when it comes to reservation.

Internet Method

By means of computer and the internet, the proponents were able to access different websites in relation to proposed system. Internet is a super highway of information and the connections of different nodes which link persons to a variety of pages that provide useful and reliable information. Wherein information is always updated, can easily be access anytime and anywhere and requires minimal computer skills.

Interview Method

Among other instruments or methods, interview is one of the most essential and most useful ways of gathering information, especially when a researcher needs to know anything and everything within the company. The proponents create queries and have a discussion with an employee inside the resort at a designated time and place. The proponents interviewed the Officer-in-charge to be able to know the whole process of how the existing manual procedure works on the resort.

Observation Method

Observation is the most fundamental type of data gathering method in which person give his/her own point of view of based on what she/he sees and  understands. It contrasts with an interview wherein interviewer is attentively watching or paying an attention to a certain employee and asking an impromptu question rather than instructed one. This method helps the proponents to understand more about the system and foresee possible improvements.
