Rational For Selection of Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola (KO) is one the largest beverage companies in the world. Coca-Cola is involved in the manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups. The company owns one of the world’s most prized brands in the world Coca-Cola. This company is one of the largest publicly traded Companies in the United States. The Company has four of the five most highly rated products which are Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite. There are more than 500 brands it owns or licenses, including sparking beverages, waters, enhanced waters, juices and juice drinks, teas, coffees, and energy and sports drinks (Coca-Cola, 2014). The company operates globally in more than 200 countries worldwide.

Coca-Cola, has great investment potential opportunity due to it having one of the strongest brands in the world, accompany by it having great marketing skills, and a high level distribution network. The Coca-Cola Company not only shows to have great short term investment potential but long term investment potential as well. Coca-Cola is known for having a steady dividend yield and an increase in its growth. The company high level distribution channel network continues to penetrate global markets allowing them to have a more universal brand with a strong foundation. The company also strategically uses share repurchases in order to keep continually improve their capital. This allows the company to profit between fewer shares. This provides insurance for the company and a good yield.

The Coca-Cola Company in 2014 generated over 10.5 billion dollars in cash operations and returned 8.5 billion dollars to shareholders through dividends and net share repurchases.
